Families Outside Change in Chairman
After four years at the helm of Families Outside, it is with great regret that we announce that Gillian Stewart has stood down as Chairman of our charity, having served the full tenure allowed by our constitution. Over the last seven years as a member of our Board (and latterly our Chairman), Gill has been a great source of strength and advice to the staff of Families Outside, helping to guide us through what has been a testing economic and financial time over the last few years. We wish Gill all the best for the future and look forward to seeing her at the Christmas lunch this year. We will of course keep in touch!
As of September 2013, Donald Millar will be taking over as Chairman of Families Outside. With a background in criminal justice social work at Edinburgh City Council, and as previous Vice Chairman of Families Outside, we look forward to working with him over the coming years.
